Okay, framing a sign that instructs employees to “wash hands before going to work” is a great way to help promote proper hygiene. It shows that the workplace is concerned about their employees health, maybe for genuine reasons, or perhaps they don’t want to accommodate sick leave. Who knows?

But if you look a little closer, about an inch below the letters are words in braille. While that may seem like a thoughtful notion, it has no purpose at all. Why? There’s a glass cover that prevents blind people from actually being able to feel those letters!
