Deep in the Russian forests, you’ll find many hidden gems in the form of amazingly designed buildings. From the intricate design to the original woodworks and careful construction, these wooden houses are true works of art that deserve to be admired for the effort that was put in them.
These buildings, while ornately beautiful, were also left empty and uninhabited by their builders, mainly due to the low temperatures in the area. They eventually traded in their wooden homes for warmer ones made of bricks in town. These historic houses, however, are open to tourists for a visit.
