Thanks to spinal anesthesia, a lot of women don’t even have to go through the pains of labor anymore. Unfortunately for those who lived in medieval times, they had to make do with what they had, and that included using eagle dung as part of the labor process.
Eating a mixture of squash, eagle dung, and other components was believed to bring on labor in women. Eagle dung was also used as a poultice to help relieve labor pains. Some also serve it together with oil and vinegar, to be consumed by a woman in labor.
