Russell Simmons’ upcoming documentary which is yet-to-be-titled is set to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 25. And during this crucial moment, Oprah announced that she will be stepping away as the executive producer of the documentary.
There have been tons of speculations about WHY the media queen decided to take such a drastic step just days before the release of the documentary. Many hinted that Oprah decided to step away as influential celebrities such as 50 Cent, are publicly against the documentary.
After a lot of speculations, Oprah’s bestie Gayle King decided to jump in and made it crystal clear that Oprah Winfrey was not forced to step away from the documentary.
