In a bizarre turn of events, George Zimmerman is suing Trayvon Martin’s family for $100 million for defamation of character. In 2012, the Florida neighborhood watchman shot and killed the 17-year-old student who was returning home from a store. The news of the teen’s death sparked outrage around the world and was one of the catalysts for the Black Live Matter movement. Now Zimmerman is claiming that the family, police, and prosecutors all conspired against him.
