The Mysterious Teenager
Matt White was just about to leave the Kroger store when a curious young man approached. A little confused, Matt wondered what this complete stranger wanted. He seemed really young, so it was a little concerning that he was all alone. Was he a beggar? Various thoughts came rushing through Matt’s head as the boy got closer and closer.
When the lad finally came close enough, Matt White had already noticed a sad look on his face. It was a mixture of shame and despair. Matt’s curiosity about the boy grew stronger. Questions raced through his head: who is this kid? Does he know who I am? What does he want from me?
